Photography was a love-at-first-click affair for me. Even as a young girl, with a cracked point-and-shoot camera, I was arranging my sisters, doing hair, finding the light, and the right background—all so I could get "the shot". My love has never waned, I studied photography in college and opened the doors to my first studio, Live & Laugh Photography, in Las Vegas, Nevada, as quickly as I was able. I photographed HUNDREDS of babies, children and families in Las Vegas, and I LOVED it all.

After moving to North Carolina, I was finally able to focus more on my family, both figuratively and literally! Watching my own 6 children grow up through the lens of my camera has given me  a unique respect for the value of those magical photos that come along every now at then. Those pictures you just LOVE and that will remind you forever of how you saw your little one in those days. As a parent, I feel like I can never stop remarking on fast they all grow up, and I swear that, in moments of self-reflection, I can really FEEL my kids slipping away through time. 

This is why I care so much and why I've honed my craft into this little corner of the photography world! I know that kids have to grow up, but let's not forget how they are today! Just like when I was young (but with much better equipment) we will find the light, the background, and everything else. We can get "the shot" that you'll cherish for a lifetime and make a life-long memory for your child while we're at it.
